Josué Mencia Carbonell, also known as El Galán, an artistic name derived from his fascinating image, was born in Havana on July 8, 1990. Self-taught dancer and singer since his young age, he reached the professional level in both disciplines. On the music side, after singing in choir groups, started his professional career as a vocalist in the group Príncipes de la Bachata, with whom he became renowned across the island. He is ionate about the whole variety of genres coming from latin music, but the bachata has a particular place in his heart. That is why, starting his career with a group of his own and without forgetting other music genres, he decided to develop bachata at his best, with increasing success and audience.
